デートのまえに、彼女はシャワーを浴びます。 XD
Lol, sorry, I HAD to put that as the title. Its one of the sentences I wrote for my homework(during English class this morning), and everyone seemed to get a kick out of it, so why not post it? For those who don't have a clue what it says: Before her date, she took a shower. I don't get why its so funny to them, but w/e. It makes sense to me to clean yourself up before you meet someone. Again, whatever.
Well, I haven't posted in the longest time ever. I haven't been to badminton in the longest time ever too. I should really go. I was working on my costume all of last week, so I didn't go, and this week, (ehehe, and this is the part where some of you guys will kill me) I've gotten sick. Go me, I managed to catch a cold(or according to the Japanese: かぜひた) The beginning of the week wasn't bad, just really tired all the time, but yesterday was hell. You're apparently not supposed to take a bad when you're sick(since everyone uses the same bathtub water, you'd most likely spread your cold to everyone else) but I took one yesterday cuz I love the ofuro too much not to take a bath. I hope the rest of my host family doesn't get sick beause of me. Either way, this morning at breakfast I felt really horrible, but on the way to school I progressively got better. And now my nose is being an idiot. (ばか 鼻水~!) Merg.... =_=
Yes, enough about my cold. I tried looking for vicks yesterday, but the convinence store didn't carry it (not very convient now is it?) Not that I need it anymore.. I need something to un-stuff my nose now. Ahem, okay, I said I'd stop talking about my cold.
Yes, well, on Sunday I went with Yanaga-san, Sasaki-san and Yanaga-san's university friend to ComicCity 2004. The convention didn't start until 11am but I had to wake up at 7 to catch the 7:20am train to Tenjin. Apparently alot of people go(like CN and AN) and you have to line up early to get in early. We got to Fukuoka Dome around 8:30am and we sat around till 11am. It costs 800yen to buy the guide book(which is your ticket in) and if you're cosplaying, you have to (or maybe it was an option) pay an extra 700yen to use their changing rooms and allow people to take your pictures (or was it the other way around?) Either way, changing took about an hour(getting the wig on my head proved to be more difficult that we all thought) The costumes were AMAZING. I took as many pictures as I could, but I was busy hunting down my other group members for group pictures(for a series that apparently no one really knows, alot of people wanted our pictures) and being stopped to have my picture taken as well. The cosplay scene was almost the main attraction of this event(or atleast for my friends) and we spent most of our time in the cosplay zone(the only area you can take pictures, which makes sense because then you won't have the problem of traffic jams infront of the tables). The costumes were AMAZING. Well, most of them. There was (of course) lots of FMA uniformed people running around (mostly Roys, a few Hawkeyes and of course a truck load of Eds) Quite a few MALE Bleach characters too. I'm posting up the pictures onto my new (and most likely soon to be full) freewebs account, so you guys can check them out later.
Oooooooooo~! GENIE~! GOOD NEWS! A: I wrote you a letter(about a week ago, which i should send out) and B: THERE IS ODORU LOVE! Jin-chan has some special edition 2nd movie soundtrack, and guess what: we're dacing to the theme of Odoru for our Gym class dance. XD. Ahem, yes, and also, she told me where she bought it, so tell me which ones you want and I'll go hunt them down!
Eto.. what else. Oh yah, I'm not done rambling about the convention. Yes, it was basically more like a fanworks gathering, because all the tables sold doujins and novels by different circles. I wish I got a chance to look more closely at them and maybe pick up something (which is what that 1500yen i paid was for) but my friends didn't seem all too interested (that and we were busy meeting other cosplayers). You have got to love the Japanese's politeness. When you want to take someone's picture, you (of course) ask really nicely and after you take the picture, you bow,(the cosplayer bows back) and if they have a cosplay site, they give you their name card. That's right, cosplayers exchange name cards like businessmen. I found that extremely amusing and really cool at the same time, since this is how they makes friends from all over Fukuoka and stuff. They look forward to seeing each other at the next event.
Well, bell just rang and I have LHR now. I should get a move on. I'll blog more later, because I know I'm forgetting to mention something.
