Bug Bites
You know how most insects die when its gets cold? Well apparently not all of them have died yet, since I managed to get 3 bug bites in one night. Two on my left hand and one on my right forearm. Geez, they're annoying. The bites on my left hand are in the oddest places too: one on the back on my hand and the other on my ring finger, right above my nuckle. Annoying as heck. ANYWAYS. *Stares at the redness of the finger*
Well, its the last day of exams so tomorrow is going to be a "normal" day. I don't know if that's a happy thing or not. I should talk to Hokazono-sensei about that University lecture again. It ended 2 weeks ago, and last week, she told me that I could just sit in that class. o.O Well, I sat through last weeks class, but if I'm going to sit through that class week after week, I rather just have permission to go to the library. Atleast then I can work on my ILC stuff or something.(By the way mom, I got the stuff on the weekend, and I finished the book the day after I got the package, but there's no questions for the English course.) Me and my host mom had an interesting day yesterday, full of lecturing. -_- When I got home, my host mother said that I should get my Alien registration card address updated, which she heard from my host sister(we tried to get me a rental card from the rental shop, but the wouldn't give it to me because my alien registration card said that I lived in Chikushino and not Ogoori). Then we had cake, and she made mention of how messy my room is, and the bag of garbage beside my desk. I tried to lighten the mood a bit by saying that my mess was an "organized mess"(which it is, because all it was was 2 stacks of ILC course books on the floor) and after she laughed at that, she starting nagging at me about all sorts of things. Like how I should ASK when I don't know something(like when the garbage day is), and that I should try to make my bed in the morning, because it looks messy. Well let's see... you're half nagging, half yelling at me about not asking when I don't understand, and expect me to actually do it now? It doesn't help that if she's not in the kitchen, she's hiding in her room(which is this little room in the far back corner of the house) and I don't want to go bother her when she's in there. She's lucky if I ever ask her for the time of day at all now.
She tried striking up a conversation after we had cake and on the way to the City Office to update my card, but I didn't answer much. After the lecture, I just didn't feel like talking, it tired me out. We stopped for ramen on the way home(I hadn't had lunch yet, to which she lectured me some more about that. I swear, she doesn't want me eating at home at all) and we went to the "home centre" after that. I had a blast that that place, because its like Canadian Tire and a little bit like Home Depot mixed, except Japanese style. I found some really neat stuff there, and I plan on going back later by myself to look around some more. I think she's sick of my "no answer" answers, because I keep saying "either is fine" or "maybe". Either way, we got home and I just crashed. I woke up 2 hours later for dinner, after having Yoshie-chan call me down.
This morning, she went about to say that I should eat with my friends today, since today is the last day of exams, everyone should be free. o.O Is it just me, or is she trying to get rid of me? I hate how she says all this too, because its always in an accusing kind of tone. Yes, because I LIKE not speaking to my friends for 4 days straight, and I try to avoid them on purpose. If I could, I would eat lunch with them, but most of them head off right after school. -_- Geez.
Well, it seems like today's blog is full of complaints. I'm going to go look for those things you guys asked me to get for you during this week.(Genie, any particular pairing for IniD? And Adam, how many volumes does Angel Sanctuary have?) , and hopefull send them home by next Monday. Genie, what the HECK was that link you gave me? Please don't tell me its someone from Tenimyu. I've never seen that show before, and frankly, I don't want to. *Laughs, then shudders* I suppose I can understand more Japanese, but only if people use the verbs that I'm learning XD. I'm working on grammar and oral fluency now, cuz my listening is okay. I can usually guess what people mean, but when it comes to making sentences, I forget putting my adjectives into the correct tenses and the stupid particles. I hate particles.
Wow, this has got to be the first time I've finished a post WELL before the bell is going to ring. Maybe I should use this time to study one more time before my kanji quiz next period. ..... Nah.
Ooo, just remembered, pottery class this Thursday (and a visiting exchange student from Malaysia too), looking forward to that. ^.^ Anyways, Ja.
